百富论坛手机版举办旅游管理和酒店管理专业国际认证经验交流会
Symposium Held by Tourism and Social Administration College on the UNWTO.TedQual Certification
为了加快推动旅游和酒店管理教育的国际化工作，3月15日下午，应百富论坛手机版邀请，南京旅游学院国际交流中心王超主任来校交流UNWTO-TedQual旅游教育质量国际认证的相关经验，交流会由涂玮副院长主持，学院领导、旅游管理和酒店管理专业全体教师共同参与，并得到了学校领导的关心和关注。
To boost the educational internationalization of tourism and hotel management, the Tourism and Social Administration College invited Wang Chao, director of the International Exchange Center of Nanjing Institute of Tourism and Hospitality (NITH), to exchange experience in the UNWTO-TedQual certification on the afternoon of 15 March. Our Vice Dean Tu Wei chaired the symposium. The attendants included executives of our college and the faculty of the Tourism Management and Hotel Management majors. Leaders of our university also thought highly of this symposium.
王主任分享了南京旅游学院旅游管理专业的认证经验，对国际化认证的申报流程、评估环节、审核材料构成、工作计划、认证专家审核等进行了详细讲解，并就认证中的关键内容进行了深入剖析，帮助两个专业进一步厘清了国际化认证开展的思路，为深入推进相关工作打下良好基础。
While sharing the NITH’s experience in certification of the Tourism Management Major, Director Wang expounded on the application procedure, aspects to be evaluated, materials for audit, working plan, and audit by experts. He analyzed the key points to certification, helping both of our majors have a clear understanding of the international certification, and laying a solid foundation for the next stage of our work.
UNWTO-TedQual是联合国世界旅游组织开展的一个项目，旨在提高旅游教育、旅游培训及旅游研究项目的质量，推广全球旅游伦理价值，是当前全球最权威、认可度最高的旅游教育质量认证，通过该质量认证是成为全球一流旅游教育机构的必经之路。目前，国内的中山大学、北京第二外国语学院、华南师范大学、青岛大学等相继完成了认证工作，南京旅游学院是江苏省内首家通过该认证的职业院校，如我校旅游管理专业、酒店管理专业通过认证，有望成为江苏省内首个通过该认证的本科专业。
The UNWTO-TedQual program, carried out by the United Nations World Tourism Organization, is designed to improve quality of education, training, and researches related to tourism. Promoting the global code of ethics for tourism, it is the most authoritative and the most widely recognized certification in quality of tourism education in the world. Therefore, the certification is necessary for an institution of tourism education that strives to be among the best of the world. To date, Sun Yat-sen University, Beijing International Studies University, South China Normal University, and Qingdao University have been awarded the certification. The NITH is the first vocational college awarded this certification in Jiangsu Province. If our Tourism Management and Hotel Management majors are successfully granted this certification, it will be the first case for undergraduate majors in Jiangsu Province.
